This is my idea for a
commercial featuring
the iconic Mrs. Butterworth's!
.....it really is a delusion of grandeur....
It goes something like this....
Picture in your mind - a runway stage, you know the kind where a super model comes out, does a turn around and walks back off?
Ya know - "The Supermodel Strut Runway Stage"
The runway is surrounded by pancakes and they are singing
Def Leperds "pour some sugar on me"
TAKE A BOTTLE, SHAKE IT ahh uh UP
Mrs. Butterworth’s comes out sliding on her knees playing air guitar
CRANK IT MAMA – CRANK IT UP!
She does a spin - her cap flying off spraying syrup over the pancakes everywhere!
and they sing some more.........
POUR SOME SYRUP ON ME!
POUR SOME SYRUP ON ME!
Mrs. Butterworths sings –
I’M HOT! (Tilts her head and dunks a few pancakes on hot)
STICKY SWEET, (dunks a few more(other side))
FROM MY HEAD TO MY FEET YEAH!
So remember there is nothing like substitute for real maple syrup!
And I do like my syrup heated, nice and hot.
